We stay deliberately small, and keep design, code, infrastructure and support under one roof. Nothing is outsourced, so there is no roadmap padded with features nobody asked for.

What that buys is a short line between a problem and a fix. When a customer writes in, the reply comes from the people who can change the code that afternoon.

Software that answers a question its user is already asking, and then gets out of the way. Not dashboards to be admired — answers, in the plainest words the subject allows.

The hard part is usually honesty, not features. It is easy to fill a screen with confident numbers. It is harder to work out which of them the data can actually support, and to say nothing where it cannot. That line is the whole product in both cases.
