Shopify tells a merchant how many people reached checkout and how many bought. It does not tell them which part of checkout the rest walked away from.
MerchantOS measures the four checkout steps separately, names the one losing the most shoppers, counts the cart value that stopped there, and emails a summary once a week — only when there is something worth acting on.
